Graphic Designer – Creative Team

Introduce yourself! What is your role at TapIn?

I am TapIn’s Junior Graphic Designer! I spend my time supporting the creative team by creating static designs both for internal purposes and for clients.

I also make the occasional TikTok. 

   

What do you enjoy about working here?

I absolutely love the people I work with, both in the creative team and in TapIn as a whole.

Everyone is such good vibes. I also love the flexible working and the 4 day week. It’s so good for my mental health as someone who gets burnt-out easily and suffers with the ol’ anxiety. It keeps the motivation for my work high and helps me to actually relax when I’m not working!

 

What is the first thing you do after logging off for the day?

At the risk of sounding like an old person, I do tend to have a nap… gotta recharge that brain power. After that I’ll probably watch one of my comfort shows, like The Office (team US version btw), eat my bodyweight in custard creams, doom scroll on twitter for hours and thirst tweet about whichever celebrity I'm currently hyper fixating on.

 

And last but not least; your go-to hype up song?

Probably Spillways by Ghost! Or Microwave Popcorn by Bo Burnham… ITS GOOD OKAY?! But it changes allllllll the time.

About TapIn Media

Founded in 2019 by Milimo Banji, TapIn is a youth-focused media and marketing agency.

While studying for an Aerospace Engineering degree, Mils found that there was a gap between the students he was with and the companies that they wanted to work with.

To amend this, he started creating YouTube videos guiding students through application processes for internships and placements within the top firms.

And then this began to grow.

3 YEARS AND A FULL TEAM LATER....

TapIn has grown into what it is today, a dedicated team of 12 intent on bridging the gap between Gen Z and the world of work.

Over this time, we have helped some of the top companies win the hearts of the youth of the UK. We have helped employers connect with hundreds of thousands of Gen Z through everything from targeted social media strategies to authentic content creation, diversity and inclusion research, and much more.

We also launched the biggest-ever research project into black talent in 2022 and 2023, The This is Black Gen Z Research Report – sets us apart, to help guide our partners to make meaningful change in their organisations.
