Introduce yourself! What is your role at TapIn?

I am the friendly neighbourhood Creative Director!

My tasks vary every day but I spend some time designing, other time planning and coordinating and most of my time trying to stay in my line manager Erin’s good books

What do you enjoy about working here?

I love the 4-day week, I love the flexible hours, I love my insanely smart and incredibly friendly colleagues. I love the work we do, I love my role, I love my team, I love the busy difficult days, I love the easy days. I love the 4-day week, wait did I already mention that?

It’s probably easier to list the things I don’t enjoy about working here … Nevermind, I can’t think of anything.

What is the first thing you do after logging off for the day?

After a long hard day, I typically stumble downstairs and spend some time with my 11 year old brother. Although I’m 21, my humour is still on the same level as his, laughing at many immature jokes at the dinner table.

And last but not least; your go-to hype up song?

It really depends on what situation I need hype for..

If I was in a training montage then: Get Loud For Me - Gizzle

If I was charging into warfare on horseback, the song playing as I charge onto the battlefield is: Ecstacy of gold - Ennio Morricone

If I was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle at full speed down an American highway, then: Fotunate Son - Credence Clearwater Revival

And lastly, if I’m having a dance battle on the street in which I’m the underdog but end up blowing everyone away: Pump it up - Joe Budden

About TapIn Media

Founded in 2019 by Milimo Banji, TapIn is a youth-focused media and marketing agency.

While studying for an Aerospace Engineering degree, Mils found that there was a gap between the students he was with and the companies that they wanted to work with.

To amend this, he started creating YouTube videos guiding students through application processes for internships and placements within the top firms.

And then this began to grow.

3 YEARS AND A FULL TEAM LATER....

TapIn has grown into what it is today, a dedicated team of 12 intent on bridging the gap between Gen Z and the world of work.

Over this time, we have helped some of the top companies win the hearts of the youth of the UK. We have helped employers connect with hundreds of thousands of Gen Z through everything from targeted social media strategies to authentic content creation, diversity and inclusion research, and much more.

We also launched the biggest-ever research project into black talent in 2022 and 2023, The This is Black Gen Z Research Report – sets us apart, to help guide our partners to make meaningful change in their organisations.
